A speculative fiction writing symposium by and for women authors. February 25-26, 2026. A three-day long celebration of writers, readers, and publishers; hosted by Brian Keene. February 27 - March 1, 2026 Every year, Scares That Care gives a gift of $10,000 to three individuals: a breast cancer patient, a severe burn victim, and a sick child. Scares That Care relies on the generosity of our supporters to help our three recipients every year. We host charity events annually that raise money for those we help.
