Festival Last year, in 2024, we had a fun-filled week with multiple Meet-Ups, exquisite opening and closing night parties, panels, workshop, fantastic independent films, and optional VIP lounge. The 2025 Short Film Oscar went to “I’m Not a Robot” which won Best Foreign Short from Lady Filmmakers in 2024! We’ve had other films go on to be nominated for an oscar and win an Emmy! Lady Filmmakers celebrates lady filmmakers, musicians, artists and the men who collaborate with them. We look forward to seeing everyone in September 2025 for the 17th Annual Lady Filmmakers Festival! We are about building a community while fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all. We champion and celebrate talented independent women filmmakers, storytellers, and diverse voices from all over the world. Lady Filmmakers is forward thinking and trendsetting. We have been at the forefront of inclusivity showcasing unique, diverse voices and perspectives. We celebrate women filmmakers and the men who collaborate with them as we are welcoming to everyone. The festival showcases films from new filmmakers to seasoned professionals branching out into a new area of filmmaking. We’ve screened passion projects from Academy Award winning actors and filmmakers to short films from elementary school student filmmakers and everything in between!
