As a director, the making and the completion of this short sci fi thriller was an exceptional challenge. Not only did we have just 48 hours to write the story, shoot the film and to complete the post production. On top of that the film needed lots of special effects, that I had to edit and fix in the same amount of time. Production wise it also was a really challenging production concept. While writing the story it became clearer and clearer to me that this film would work better when we shot it in one continues take. That way we, as an audience, would be thrown into the story from the first second. Being in the story immediately was essential to tell such a huge story in such little time. It also makes the audience sit on the edge of their seat as we follow everything that our (anti)-hero goes through, leading up to the big reveal. It was daring concept for a short film written, shot and edited in under 48 hours, but such a treat.
