Roberto Alvite

Roberto Alvite (A Coruña, 1989) works as executive producer, screenwriter and director at Melgo Cinema, his own production company created in A Coruña in 2018, where he creates projects in diverse formats and genres that focus on dealing with social issues. His debut film is "The three falls of Maria Santiso" (2019), a comedy-drama short film, winner of the Audience Award for Best Galician Film at its premiere in Galicia at the 41st Lugo Film Week, and which has been projected since then in more than 30 municipalities throughout the country. Next he creates "Dessert" (2020), a suspense short film; "You First" (2021), an interactive romance visual novel available for iOS and Android that in its first month since its release had more than 10,000 downloads in more than 30 countries; "Our passing: Our nature" (2023), a docufiction mixing fantasy and tragicomedy; "PEGGED-AS" (TBD), a drama in the form of a digital and interactive comic in pre-production, and "The three other lives of Maria Santiso" (2024), a fiction feature film in post-production that will be released in 2024. He is currently developing several more projects. He has a diploma in Social Education from the University of La Coruña and is a member of the copyright management entity DAMA.
