JAROSLAW GOGOLIN

My name is Jaroslaw Gogolin and I live in London UK. I am self employed electrician so I can decide when to work (to pay the bills) and when to take care of my passion – the film, so one day I can focus only on my passion. I have been working as a Writer/Director since 2014. During my short but very active career I wrote and filmed 10 short films and a feature one. First award I received for a short film “Weedomania” in 2016. In 2017 I produced and directed my first feature film “ Once upon a time on All Hallows' Eve” - 42min thriller. The film was finished in 2018 and since then it's been in a festival circle. The film was awarded and selected to many film festivals. In 2016 I wrote my first feature screenplay “Copland - in self defence”. Which has been selected and awarded at many film festivals. Then I wrote another feature scripts in 2019 “Superior Being (Part1) - Awakening" and “Superior Being (Part2) - Axis Mundi". In 2020 I wrote "Light Years" Sci-fi feature script (the most successful screenplay so far in film festivals) and three more feature scripts: “Superior Being: Smokeless Fire”, “Superior Being: Stardust”, “Superior Being: She-Who-Knows”. In Jan. 2020 also I finished my another short film: "Requiem for the Living" In 2021 one of my scripts (“Light Years” Sci-fi) from around the world, had been selected to Nostos Screenwriting Retreats screenwriters' festival (https://www.nostosscreenwritingretreats.com/) and because of that selection I could join 12 other selected screenwriters to go to that retreat for 3 weeks in Tuscany, Italy. Over there I wrote my most recent screenplay “Black forest mystery” - this time a fantasy genre. Later I wrote “Black forest mystery 2” - a sequel to part 1. In 2021 I started filming "Lost dolls". Last version of the film - "Lost dolls 2.0" - was finished in Sep 2024.
