Doortje Schoonbrood

My work may look sweet and colourful, but I have an urgent message I need to tell. Growing up surrounded by nature in the south of the Netherlands helped me form a strong connection with nature. I think it is so strange that we, humanity, separate ourselves from nature and our emotions. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Animation and Illustration, followed by a Master's degree in Animation. Throughout my studies, I learned to blend disciplines and to be free in experimenting with art, poetry and music.
