Yes, both. A filmmaker profile ties someone’s films together; a festival entry helps the community find it. Genres and countries stay curated by us, so those are not open to contribution.

Can I upload a poster or a headshot?

Yes, if you have the rights to the image. Please upload the file rather than pasting a link to someone else’s site – we only publish images we host ourselves.

Why was my contribution edited or rejected?

Usually accuracy: a mismatched year, a duplicate of an entry we already have, or a detail we could not verify. We will tell you which it was, and you can correct and resend.

Can I copy information from IMDb?

Please do not. Their terms do not allow their data to be reused, so we cannot accept it. A reference link to an IMDb page is fine; copied text and credits are not.
