Synopsis
Mr. Ham decides to have his heart removed in order to be relieved of his complicated feelings. After its removal, however, he keeps the heart for a while, thinking that perhaps he can understand it better after all. Takotsubo syndrome, also known as stress cardiomyopathy or broken-heart syndrome, is a rare, acute and often serious dysfunction of the heart muscle that usually arises from extraordinary emotional or physical stress.
