Chonnajun Waitayawinyoo

Chonnajun “Bambam” Waitayawinyoo is a filmmaker, 3D animator, and CG generalist from Bangkok, Thailand. A
recent graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, where she studied Computer Animation with a minor in
Film Studies, her work draws from Japanese animation and Western animation storytelling.
Created as her graduation project, Killa Maid! marks her directorial debut and explores visual contrast through a
collision of bright, cute aesthetics and dark subject matter. Treating violence as stylized and absurd rather than
realistic, the film reflects her fascination with how media, particularly commercials and mascots, can disguise
unsettling ideas behind charming surfaces.
