After developing an artistic chemistry with several teachers who instilled in her a passion for cinema at Cégep de Saint-Félicien, Léonie Savard decided to continue her higher education in animation. A student in the Bachelor of Arts and Science in Animation program since 2024, the emerging director is passionate about this medium and aims to make it her profession. With a particular interest in stop-motion puppet animation, she has found success at festivals with her early pixilation short film Antitutoriel. The worlds she creates are tinged with strange and offbeat humor.
