Andoni Fernandez
Andoni Fernández (1998, Bilbao) is a Basque director and screenwriter. He studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of the Basque Country and, later in 2024, completed a postgraduate degree in directing at ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya), where his comedy/horror short film project "Glory Hole" was awarded and produced by ESCAC.
He currently has a scholarship to continue his studies in the school's Master's in Directing.
He has worked on various advertising productions as a first assistant director for brands such as San Miguel, Athletic Club, and Uber, among others. He has also been part of the production department on films, series, and documentaries for Disney+, Amazon Prime, RTVE, etc. He has also worked in the production department at the Basque public television station EITB, and has directed various music videos and advertising pieces for social media. His interests focus on comedy, fantasy, and horror as a means of expression within fiction.
