Itzzy ne mangera plus jamais de pizza la nuit. Au cours d'une nuit blanche, Itzzy se réveille avec une envie de pointe de pizza de la veille. Ce qui commence comme un rituel banal, presque réconfortant, devient vite inquiétant quand un bulletin télévisé annonce un virus zombie lié au pepperoni.

One sleepless night, Itzzy wakes up craving a slice of leftover pizza. What begins as a mundane, almost comforting ritual soon turns unsettling when a TV broadcast warns of a zombie virus linked to pepperoni.

A. Knochenhauer and Luis E. Méndez are filmmakers who met a few years ago while attending a horror screenwriting program in Mexico City. Sharing a passion for the genre, they quickly developed a close creative partnership rooted in their love of horror cinema.

Together, they create horror short films, produce film reviews, and continuously engage with the genre through both practice and spectatorship.

Individually, A. Knochenhauer has directed short films such as The Attack of the Killer Sausage and 24/7 Clown. They are currently studying at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking (ENPEG, La Esmeralda), and in 2023 were part of the pre-selection committee for short films at the Black Canvas Contemporary Film Festival. Luis E. Méndez is a graduate of the Mexican Association of Independent Filmmakers (AMCI) and has directed projects including P de Perras, A New Follower and The Hangman’s Game.

They aim to continue creating horror films.
