Ryan Kruger is a South African -based actor/director , Kruger is known for his unique conceptual shooting style marrying narrative and visuals, He is regarded as being one of SA's top music video directors with over 100 music videos to his name,picking up many awards and nominations from the likes of MTV and SAMA'S (South African Music Award), widely celebrated for his outstanding work of dozens of internationally-acclaimed short films.
His debut feature film, FRIED BARRY, was released in 2021 as a SHUDDER ORIGINAL (AMC). The reception to FRIED BARRY has been nothing short of explosive earning a cult status, with over 25 awards at film festivals, attaining a “Certified Fresh”on RottenTomatoes and achieving viral fame in the US; Kruger is a rising star in the genre film.Fried Barry had 6 nominations including best film and director at the 16th South African film & Television Awards (SAFTAS) . Kruger has finished his second film, "Street Trash" That had its world premier at Quentin Tarantino's cinema in LA and UK premier at The prestiges Prince Charles cinema in London and more recently at The international film festival Rotterdam.
