Tate Cozza

Tate Cozza is an emerging filmmaker with a passion for storytelling that blends horror, humor, and a touch of the surreal. Over the past year, Tate has written, produced, and starred in a series of indie short films, including Barbershop of the Damned, which was a semi-finalist at The Thing In The Basement Horror Fest and selected for Spooky Empire’s International Film Festival. With a creative vision inspired by Grindhouse and a desire to push the boundaries of genre filmmaking, Tate is dedicated to crafting unique and engaging narratives.   In addition to his work in film, Tate brings a keen eye for detail from his career as a hairstylist and his love for music as a DJ, which often influences his approach to the visual and auditory elements of his films. He is eager to continue exploring his voice as a filmmaker, with more projects in development.
