Markus Wimberger

Markus Wimberger was born in 1973 in Lower Austria.
He studied communication science and journalism in Vienna.
During his study he made his first filmmaking-experiences.
He worked on short films and documentaries.
In 2006 he made his first movie as a director, „Flesh for the King“.
In 2008 he started the production of „Bloody Monster“, which he wrote, directed and produced.
The movie was finished in 2013.
Together with Frens Mike he founded „Mitternachtsfilm“, an Austrian Independent Movie Production Company. 2019 he directed "Portae Infernales" which won "Best Feature" at the "Fright Nights Film Festival".
