Christian Meola
Christian Meola is a theatre and film writer/director from Albany, New York. He graduated from Florida State University and earned a BFA in Theatre and Film Studies.
Christian's work focuses on human behavior under the influence of social constructs through narrative fiction, experimental forms, and erotica. His work has screened on NoBudge, at Sidewalk Film Festival, The Adirondack Film Festival, Sick 'N' Wrong Festival, and The Electric Forest Music Festival. He enjoys disturbing conventional genres, playing with an audience’s expectations, and causing mischief!
Christian hosts Midnight Movie LA, a bi-monthly screening dedicated to arthouse, B-movies, DIY-films, and trash. Christian is a film/theatre production teacher, and has worked with several institutions such as California's Youth Policy Institute to create enriching arts based programs in schools. He is also working with Angelyne on her new documentary. He lives in Los Angeles.
