“Alan Talkenov was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1994. He has been in love with cinema since childhood and started making movies when he was 15. After graduating from high school, he studied at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts and received a bachelor’s degree in Directing of Non-Fiction Films.
As a filmmaker, Alan developed his style of ‘Lo-Fi Filmmaking’ by experimenting with form and effect and working with a minimal budget, instead relying on creativity and enthusiasm.”
