Synopsis

Shards follows the apathetic lives of several damaged outcasts on violent paths to inevitable self destruction. A quirky mix of drama and pitch black comedy, it parodies the classic Australian crime film while critically examining cinematic tropes and cultural stereotypes, particularly depictions of drug addiction, gendered violence and misogynistic “humour“.
